Technically, I left yesterday even though i made it only 5 miles to San Francisco to wait out the bad weather. The next day, Monday was perfect, and off i went to my first of many ports. Pillar point in Half Moon Bay was my first stop. Tomorrow if conditions are OK, i am going to Monterrey or Santa Cruz.
As proof that I was out to sea:
The coast is to the left in the photo. The seas are flat, which often means there is little or no winds to sail so I had to run the engine.
I will be taking a number of photos of the coast line when the conditions allow. This is a view that few people get to see and enjoy.
